Walu is a personal finance application operated by Tomás Mosquera Jaramillo ("Walu", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have regarding your information when using Walu.

1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and profile information: When you create an account, we may collect your email address, first name, last name, avatar, and app preferences such as language, theme, and certain feature settings.
- Financial information you enter: We collect the information you choose to record in Walu, such as accounts, cards, cash, assets, liabilities, budgets, categories, labels, transactions, notes, and reports derived from that information.
- Information related to shared features: If you use features such as connected or shared accounts, we may process the information necessary to create invitations, link shared accounts, and display movements or statuses related to the person connected with you.
- Device and usage information: We may collect technical device identifiers, push notification tokens, platform information, permission status, and technical data necessary to operate the app and sync it properly.
- Notifications: If you enable notifications, we may store your push token, notification preferences, and events related to alerts, reminders, or shared activity.
- AI and voice, if you choose to use them: If you enable AI features, you may enter your own external provider API key. That key may be stored locally on your device to enable the feature. If you use voice input, the audio is processed only when you initiate it for transcription or request handling.
- Files you import or export: If you use import or export features, we process the files and data necessary to complete that action.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account;
- display, organize, and sync your financial data;
- calculate balances, budgets, reports, and reminders;
- enable shared features between users;
- send notifications and alerts if you enable them;
- respond to support requests;
